Cake Cooling Tip ~ When cooling cake layers, place bread slices on top to keep the cake layers soft and moist while the bread becomes hard as a rock — What a cool fact!!! It keeps the cake from cracking in the middle too!

If you don’t have a timer your cake is ready when you can start to smell the cake in the kitchen. I didn’t believe this but it’s true…you still need to test it but if it’s not done, it’ll be nearly done!

When cooking meat..take the meat out and let rise to room temperature to make sure the meat cooks through evenly. Then makes sure you let it rest before slicing or serving.
